About Me

EARLY LIFE

Originally from New York, I've lived and worked in and around Charlotte, North Carolina for more than 20 years. I grew up playing football, basketball, ice hockey, wrestling, track & field, and baseball. I was fortunate to have great parents and coaches, all of whom taught me how to work hard and lead; a privilege I never took lightly. This was a major reason I was elected captain of most of my sports teams.

COLLEGE & CAREER

Throughout high school, I played several sports with a focus on baseball. This led to a scholarship to play NCAA Division I as a catcher for High Point University. Immediately after graduating, I entered the police academy, graduating 6 months later and began a law enforcement career that I truly loved. I retired after 20 years of service. While with the police department, I competed on the department's charity baseball and hockey teams. I had a blast traveling throughout the country with my teammates. I was also a volunteer firefighter and attended EMT school.

COACHING EXPERIENCE

Over the years, I've coached youth soccer, baseball, softball, football, mountain biking, and cross country. A most favorite experience was coaching a travel softball team. It was a pride and joy to coach a wonderful group of talented and driven girls. I was then blessed with the opportunity to coach for a 4A High School Girls Softball team that competed for the state championship. I've  trained baseball and softball players privately for years and enjoyed helping several of them earn positions on various college teams.

PERSONAL LIFE

It's a priority to remain active myself. I enjoy being outside, working out, cycling, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I am very family-oriented and grew up in a loving family. I have two incredible brothers, an FDNY Firefighter and a Federal Special Operations Member/USMC Veteran/USNA Alumus. We discuss fitness regularly, always challenging one another to give it our ALL (and try to out perform one another as brothers often do!). I also have two amazing daughters who are incredible young women and athletes.

I believe in honoring God, my family, the United States of America, and serving my community.  I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for my health, talents, and abilities that I've been blessed with!

FUN FACTS:

  • In 1994, I represented the USA on the Junior Olympic Track & Field Team (4X100m Relay) in Turino, Italy.
  •  While a police officer, I had the opportunity to cycle from Charlotte, N.C. to Washington D.C. for 4 years in a row as part of a fundraiser for Police Memorial Week.
  • I started repairing my teammates' baseball gloves in college. This developed into Peak Performance, a small business that repairs baseball and softball gloves. CLICK HERE to learn more.

If you have interest in training for any sport, I'd love to connect and answer any questions you may have.

The main question........are you ALL IN?
